Paint is the easy part. The job is the preparation.
01 Prepare
Washing, scraping, sanding, filling and caulking take the bulk of the time on almost every job we do. We would rather quote higher than skip it, because that is where a paint job fails.
02 Specify
The products and the number of coats are named on your quote. Coats go on at the spread rate the manufacturer specifies, not thinned out to save a tin.
03 Finish
Two topcoats as standard, a walk-through with you before we pack up, and the site left clean. You should not be finding tape behind a door in a month.

About us
Luke and Adam
Prestige Painting Newcastle is a local, hands-on outfit. Luke and Adam have more than 25 years in the trade between them, and both are still on the tools — you deal with the person doing the work, not a call centre.
We are licensed under NSW contractor licence 381238C and we work to Australian Standard AS/NZS 2311 for painting buildings. That means the prep gets done properly, not just the topcoat.
Most of our work comes from people who have had us before, or their neighbours.
